The city of Washington, NC offers visitors 48 hours free docking. The city has many nice restaurants, bars, shopping, and groceries within walking distance of the docks. The bah houses are spotless, and there is a laundry facility connected to the bath house. There is a nice anchorage just southwest of the docks, and a very nice dinghy dock next to the bath house.
