This is a beautiful spot in front of a white sand beach with clear green water. The immediate waters surrounding this island are part of the Parc Sud marine reserve. Anchor in 20 feet of sand on a fairly narrow shelf- only 2 boats can comfortably fit here. It appears the island is privately owned given the sign. We snorkeled & spearfished on nearly Port Bouquet barrier reef (outside park boundaries) which had nice corals and lobster. Protection is good from east, south & west.
