We used Anzio as a stopover on our way to Rome. It gives good protection from the North & West and in settled conditions. But still expect there to be a roll from swell that wraps around the point. Lots or room to anchor in great holding sand. Gently sloping depths. There are also marinas nearby in both Anzio and adjacent Nettuno.
