Bottom Type Mud

A large bay surrounded by hills and mangroves with good shelter and good holding. The bay is completely natural and there is virtually no habitation or so you might think until you explore the northern part and find the large friendly village or town of New Busuanga hidden from view. There is very little infrastructure and at the time of writing it had been hit hard by Typhoon Yolanda and apparently received little or no aid. Many trees have been blown down, there is much rebuilding is going on and many homes are still in disrepair. It is also possible to hike or ride to Ocam Ocam Bay and a good place to watch the resident Dugong.
