If cruising Biscayne Bay and wanting to visit Coconut Grove, transient dockage can be very expensive and the anchorage possibilities are exposed or have no facilities. Getting one of these rental moorings for transients is very reasonable and the mooring area is protected. It is shallow however so be sure to give your draft and they only allow boats up to 40 ft as the spacing is tight but still, a good option. From their website:
