This is a modern, friendly marina complex run by Calero Marinas. Upon entering the commercial harbor, proceed all the way to the end of it and go through the narrow opening into the marina. The welcome dock is straight ahead all the way in against the marina office building. It is expected that you will stop there first to check papers before going to your berth with finger piers. Because of the tendency for this marina to get very frequent swell, you'll most likely have one double loaded berth to yourself. Marina staff try to avoid having sailboat masts lined up in case of a lot of motion in the marina. The attractive town of Santa Cruz is right out the marina gate with a tourist office very close by. There are museums, restaurants, hiking trails and good bus service to other parts of the island. The Canarian architecture can be appreciated in this town. The airport is 9 minutes away by car.
