Description (0)Izuhara is a CIQ port for Japan. The berth is in front of the Japanese Customs Boat on a very old concrete dock. It has a 6? undercut at low tides of less than 0.2 metres. Customs and Immigration are located in the building opposite the berth. Duty Free Diesel is available from the Shell Station opposite in either jerry cans or if the quantity is sufficient by small tanker. It is historically dearer than Fukuoka. The town caters mainly to Korean Tourists arriving by ferry from Busan to visit the many Pachinko Halls and Duty Free Stores. There is a large modern Supermarket ‘Red Cabbage’ within easy walking distance on the main street.
