Tobata Port offers good protection deep into the harbour. It was a convenient overnight stop for timing tides in the Kanmon Strait. The berth is alongside a concrete dock wall. There didn’t appear to be an undercut at low tide. The harbour is tight and there is only room for two boats on the wall. An Aeon Mall is close by that offers a good selection for provisioning.
