Just a stopover anchorage when traveling the ICW, this anchorage comes in handy as there aren't many other places to stop for the night in water deep enough off the channel. The area to the east of R24 has 8-10 feet in good holding marl (sand & fine shells). In less than calm conditions there can be a chop. Peaceful spot with nothing else around.
