Absolutely the best anchorage we have enjoyed. John Muir thought it more stunning than Yosemite and called it Yosemite Bay. Ford's Terror came later but don't let the name put you off. Timed correctly there is no problem entering. Enter on high slack which is about 20-35 minutes after high water at Juneau. Sit outside and watch for the water to go flat.
