Le mouillage du Béniguet se situe à l'Ouest de l'ile de Houat, au milieu du passage du Béniguet permettant de passer de la baie de Quiberon vers la côte SE de Belle Ile. Orienté vers l'Ouest, et doté d'une très belle plage, il offre un bon abri par tous vents sauf par vent de SW à NW. La promenade sur le chemin de côte de l'Ile est somptueuse. Les rochers parés de jaune, la flore somptueuse, surtout au printemps. Ne pas s'enfoncer trop près de la plage pour ne pas s'exposer au ressac, surtout en cas de modification de direction de vent.
