Anchorage Facts
Depth 17 meters
Bottom Type Sand

This island is inhabited primarily by the Banabans, relocated to Fiji in the middle of the last century from Ocean Island in the Pacific, which was stripped for phosphate and became uninhabitable. There used to be a village at Albert Cove on the north of the island, but it has been largely abandoned and only visited by locals during the day. Watch for the two large spits of coral on either side of the entry to the cove and anchor in 15-18m over coral sand/rubble.
