Angistri is a small island situated about 4 miles off the coast of Aegina. It has regular ferry service to its eastern side where there are small marinas, restaurants & hotels but the southwestern side is remarkably quiet with little commercialization. It is a popular place for boating though! There are several small anchorages that can be used in settled weather. There's a small island, Nisos Dhorousa that is within easy dinghy distance from the anchorages and it has pretty coves for swimming and a rocky, rough trail to the highest point on the island with beautiful views and a little chapel. Ashore on Angistri near the anchorages are  pine forests with fire roads- great for walking too and there are rocky beaches.

Features
  • Pebbly beaches and a few beach bars in some of the coves
