Porto Heli is in the Saronic Gulf, on the peninsula of the Peloponnisos and close to the famous islands of Spetsai & Hydra. It is a very rounded, pretty bay with lots of room to anchor, good protection and good holding in mud. The water has a pretty blue color. You can pull up to the quay to med moor or just anchor. The town offers grocery shopping, cafes and most importantly, hydrofoil ferry service to Hydra & Spetsai. We chose to anchor here and use the ferry to avoid the crowds and tight quarters of the islands and it worked out great. Purchase tickets in the Hellenic Seaways office just back from the boarding area. There are other spots to anchor in the approach channel to Porto Heli.
