Lembongan Island is a playground for
dayboats from Bali and is also a popular vacation spot with literally
hundreds of places to stay on shore. There are a few moorings that
you can pick up (no one came by to collect any fees but be prepared)
or you can anchor. While it is really busy during the day, this all
stops by 4pm or so and the anchorage becomes peaceful. A pretty good
current runs through the anchorage and the water is clear and pretty. Relatively calm & protected in the SE monsoon. Beach the dinghy ashore and
walk on the waterfront boardwalk. There is an ATM and several restaurants
ashore. Take care maneuvering around because the reef comes way out and there are breaking waves on it.
