If anchored on the Banana River at Dragon Point the swing bridge called Mathers Bridge within view is the start of the Tropical Trail- a paved, low use road with multiple speed bumps that runs the length of the thin island that forms the western side of the anchorage. This road is very popular with runners, bikers & walkers and goes on for a few miles to the north with good views of the river. We walked over from the dinghy dock at Anchorage Yacht Basin but you could also be dropped off at Telemar Marina or Oars & Paddles Park, visible on Google maps.
