This is a nice coral free spot with good holding in sand, about 55 feet. Be careful on the approach as there are very large, shallow coral heads strewn about. Good protection in South through NE wind. The views of the Jokin cliffs are beautiful and there are lots of places to snorkel although we didn't think it was spectacular. We weren't able to find a scuba dive site worth mentioning. Getting ashore is a challenge as there is no beach or landing. There are concrete steps that run down the cliffside almost to the water but not quite & there's nothing to tie to. Either be dropped off or anchor the dinghy just nearby and swim to the steps. The chief- George, runs the Gite that is at the top of the stairs and to the left on a small side road. The main road is very quiet and 4km away is a small botanical garden/vanillerie that cruise ship visitors are taken to. George sold limited produce upon request but for any groceries he advised renting a car from him to go to We.
