This is a shelf anchorage a little north of Canneto. Whereas the anchorage in Canneto is pretty deep, this shelf offers a large area with approximately 20-25 foot depths in crystal clear blue water with a pure black sand bottom. Swimming around the rocks along the shore is pretty good. You are within dinghy distance of town. Protection is good from the west of course but otherwise this is exposed and only for settled weather. There are the remnants of an old pumice mine just north of the anchorage and there is also some pumice to be found floating in the water.
