This anchorage is directly west on the opposite side of the isthmus from Porto di Levante. It has good protection except from westerlies. The bottom is sand. There is a popular sandy beach onshore and easy access to groceries, restaurants, gift shops and to the volcano trial. The scenery is really pretty.
