There is a large anchorage just outside Straits Quay Marina that is generally calm except for whatever wind & short duration chop is brought by passing thunderstorms. The holding is good in messy mud at approximately 20 feet. Straits Quay Marina is friendly to anchored boats but you will need to get a card key for access. This is a popular rally stop. There is lots to do onshore including eat, shop & tour with good transport options available close by.
