Koh Similan is #8 of the numbered Similan islands. There are moorings scattered around the island but the main area is at the northern tip, just south of Koh Bangu. Expect some motion & boat roll here. There's a nice beach, several moorings, a park office and facilties including a short trail to Sail Rock, the unique rock formation visible as you enter the cove. There is room for one or two boats to anchor at Koh Similan in about 35 feet although it is rather tight with all the moorings.
