A cute anchorage right off the town of Arrecife protected by Islote de Fermina and the old harbor wall that has Castillo de San Gabriel (a museum). Open to south/SW. There were more than 15 boats here when we visited- not counting the small ones way inside. Because it is shallow, most cruising boats anchor on the outside but there is still good protection from prevailing winds. Inside there are many reef patches. Tie the dinghy along the harbor wall or dinghy in to the town beach. Lots of stores, restaurants ashore, museums and there is a tourist office on the promenade near the round wooden building.
