Wax Cay Cut offers great opportunities for drift diving with the incoming current with your dinghy in tow. It is a beautiful, wide cut with lots of coral, and sand banks on either side. There are several ways you can drift to see the different parts of the cut. Depending on what tide state you pick you can reach up to 4 kts in here! We saw an interesting spectacle of a large group of nurse sharks lying on the bottom together, along with 6 turtles, rays and coral formations. You'll end up on a sandy plateau. Fun!

Features
  • You bet there's current! Time your drift dive with any state of incoming current.
