Located a few miles off the ICW in Bayboro, NC this small, do-it-yourself boatyard is one of the few remaining where you actually can do it yourself! Well marked channel all the way up river to boatyard with minimum 8 feet of water. Can anchor in front of boatyard before hauling as boatyard is pretty much at head of river. There are a few marina berths available but check as they did have damage in a previous hurricane. Haulout was easy and marina staff spun our boat in the slipway so that we didn't have to back up to the Travelift. Affordable, friendly, responsive staff. Small chandlery, laundry, ice machine, paint shed with compressed air which charges $100/week.
