Many spots to anchor in this bay (mud bottom) with plenty of depth depending on wind direction but is open to west winds & associated fetch from Fitzroy Harbor. The head of the bay dries at low water. DOC trails start from the shore on both the north (Blair's Landing) & south (Bush's Beach) sides of the harbor. You must beach the dinghy or anchor it at the shoreline as there is no dinghy dock. Lovely views of Mt Hobson.
