Description (0)
A pretty anchorage off Batnavine village. The approach seems clear of dangers but once in the anchorage area, be watchful of a patch reef close in to the beach right off the village and more reefy areas near the detached rock visible to starboard as you enter the anchorage. Anchor in approximately 25 feet of sand. Villagers friendly and welcoming. There are a couple of small stores, a school, church. Great snorkeling here and also a wall dive (please see individual markers). Ask for permission in village before proceeding. This was a very calm spot in prevailing SE winds which is more than we can say for most anchorages!
