There is a FREE dock here managed by Jax Parks (part of Jacksonville's park and water access system) and unless there is a fishing tournament going on, visitors can side tie here for up to 72hrs free of charge. New concrete docks, water spigots, boardwalk to shore where there are park facilities. A sign on the dock explains the rules which include no working on your boat, no BBQ's, no external generators. There is not a huge amount of room here to turn around so best if your boat is imited to 40 feet. This free dock is not staffed and is first come first serve. There isn't much of anything to do here except admire your boat sitting in its free slip!
