Cammeray Marina is a popular spot for international sailors due to its good location & pricing. Situated in Middle Harbor, Sydney, it is minutes to downtown Sydney by bus or approx an hour's walk and provides a protected place to keep a boat in a residential setting. They offer marina berths, swing moorings with inclusive launch service, haulouts and related marine services. Facilities are not fancy but are adequate and the staff are friendly & accommodating. Owner Kelvin Rabbitts threw a generous holiday party when we were there that was great! There are walking trails adjacent to the marina and while shopping isn't particularly close by, it is within walking distance for most. Bear in mind that the entire area has many stairs & hills as the topography of the harbor is primarily cliffs! Middle Harbor has adequate depths and is very well protected. To reach the marina, the Spit Bridge must be passed under. Check the website for opening times; there are several scheduled openings per day outside of rush hour traffic.
