Description (0)
Bonifacio has a very protected, lively harbor in a picturesque
setting that is one of the most unique we've seen in the Med. This is
a must see! You can either med-moor to a cliff wall in Calanque de la
Catena (see separate entry) or tie up at the town run marina deeper
inside the harbor. Authorities monitor VHF 12,9, 16. There is good
shelter once inside but beware of lots of boat traffic when coming in
& out and possible choppy seas if it is windy. This is a busy
place in summer and dockage is expensive. Try to book ahead or radio
upon entering for assistance in berthing. Space is tight however very
large yachts line the quay.
