This is one of many anchorages in the Maddalena Archipelago National Park & Marine Reserve which covers most of the islands off the NE coast of Sardinia. There are lots of rules & regs regarding visiting the park by boat and its best to study the website listed here for more info since it is kind of complicated. We showed up after an overnight trip from Rome and shortly after picking up a park mooring (encouraged to preserve sea grass beds), we were visited by park staff to collect mooring fees. Its not cheap- about 50 Euros however, it would have been less if we had bought a park pass prior to arrival or if we had stayed several days. The park offers a few trails, lovely water for swimming & snorkeling and really pretty surroundings.
