Rondinara is a really pretty cove on the SE side of Corsica. It is protected from the south by a peninsula named Pointe de Rondinara. The approach is straightforward although once you get into the cove itself, watch the bottom for a submerged rock that is just off to northward. The water is very clear and perfect for swimming and a nice sandy beach surrounds the cove. The area is a park and when we visited, friendly park staff had us anchor inside the yellow buoys as they are trying to protect the grasses in the deeper water. There was still plenty of room to anchor. Ashore there is a campground and a few park trails. There is also a casual beach restaurant. You can walk on paths southward, around the point and to other beaches that offer more privacy. There is no rubbish disposal. We saw lots of cuttlefish in the grasses while snorkeling.
