This large, modern marina is just off the canal entrance to Mar Menor and has good protection. You  need to pass under the lift bridge from sea in order to get to it. This bridge is on a schedule (every 2 hours during the day on the even) but will open automatically if staying at the marina. Be sure to check first! The harbor entry, canal and marina are well marked. It is not recommended to approach this area from sea in strong E or SE winds due to shoaling and resulting rough water. Transients welcome.
