Bottom Type Sand

On the north side of Cabo de Palos there is an anchorage good for settled conditions and winds other than N & NE. It is more protected than it looks. Popular at weekends, there is a long stretch of beach and the water is clear. Ashore there are restaurant and shopping options. You can walk out to the lighthouse for pretty views.  There is a coastal path marked with red & white blazes that picks up there and winds around to the small harbor of Puerto de Cabo de Palos on the south side of the point. It is a cute little fishing port with a few small restaurants.
