Kuah is a busy harbor but this anchorage is out of the hustle. Full check-in facilities are based at the main ferry jetty to the east. Just toward shore from the anchorage waypoint, there is a blue floating dinghy dock to tie to. You might want to lock your dinghy and not leave anything loose in it. When we were here someone had their painter cut off. There is a fuel barge that parks in the anchorage to service the ferries and we were able to fill our jerry jugs easily & cheaply that way. A good selection of duty free goods and alcohol is right near the ferry jetty (as well as many other places) and there is a Billion grocery store in the Langkawi Fair shopping mall down the street. A fairly large park called Taman Legenda runs along the shoreline between the dinghy dock and the feryy jetty so it is a pleasant walk between the two. Features
