Kuah is a five minute taxi ride away where you can buy provisions for your cruise and just about anything else the serious shopper needs. you may use the excellent bar and restaurant, where Other facilities include a convenience store and bottle shop, swimming pool, showers and toilets. There are several good basic restaurants in Kuah town such as Teo’s for Chinese, Wonderland for Malay, Waan Thai for Thai (no alcohol) and Sunday’s for excellent western,Thai and Malay food(BYO wine). There is also an interesting night market on Wednesday’s and Saturday’s. Taxi’s can be ordered at the bar or at the taxi stand at jetty point.
