Rudder Cay is an attractive island anchorage that reminds us of French Poly in a subtle way. Rudder Cut is relatively straightforward although there is a lot of current and it is easy to follow the dark blue strip of water that curves around to the anchorage once inside the cut. There are 2 indentations in Rudder Cay with nice anchoring spots in sand. One has a beach and a cave and around the corner to the north, that anchorage has 2 beaches. Unfortunately the island is private and there are no trespassing signs. There are some snorkeling opportunities to keep you busy. One is in the entrance on the rock islets. You can also drift dive the cut. And there is also some nice "touch tank" snorkeling on the island that you pass on the way to the anchorage.
