Black Point is at the top of Great Guana Cay and is reachable from the banks or by using Dotham Cut from Exuma Sound. The cut is wide, straight forward and very pretty with multiple colors of water. The anchorage is huge with a sloping, sandy bottom with perfect holding. Dinghy landing is at the popular Rockside Laundry or the west finger of the government pier. There are several restaurants, a grocery, laundry, a blowhole on the eastern side beach and a few roads to stretch your legs. There is another anchorage at Little Bay just south of Black Point that has no services but there is a road to town. It is part of a halted resort project so is unpaved and generally unused.
