This is a good anchorage in E-SW winds and provides excellent holding in mud & sand. We used it in 25kts SE wind and it was fine although we did experience wind bullets. Choose depth depending on draft and be aware that the water shoals as you approach the island. Landing on the beach here is prohibited Oct 1-March31 because it is an important nesting site for the threatened beach stone curlew.
