Boat Port anchorage is an access point
for the trails of Lindeman Island. You can see the green park signs
ashore for the campground on the second beach in as you approach the
anchorage. There is protection from NE-SE winds, however this
anchorage is rolly and swell can work its way around Thumb Point. In
2015, we anchored here specifically to hike the trails but found them
very overgrown. The Club Med Resort on the southern side of the
island was closed after a cyclone. It might be better to access the
trails from Gap Beach instead.
