At the outlet of the Torrente de Pareis, this cala is both beautiful and busy with tourists. They arrive by road and by ferry but the anchorage is pretty big and there is good but coarse sand to anchor in. By evening, the day trippers have gone and the area is left to the boaters and becomes very peaceful. Approach is easy and you can anchor outside the swim floats right in front of the gorge. Open to the north and really only for settled weather because of swell. The adjacent finger of the cove to starboard on approach can be used at night but bear in mind the ferries tie up there by day. This is where to land the dinghy. There are restaurants and gift shops and a really well done path that tunnels through the rock to get to the lagoon side area where the river would flow out if there was water in it. You can walk up the gorge and rock climb or sit on the small rocky beach looking out at your boat. This is a really unique spot on Mallorca and well worth seeing.
