Puerto Pollenca makes a great stop along this coast and a protected anchorage in most conditions. There was plenty of room to anchor beyond the moorings off the breakwater in good holding sand. Watch your chart as you move around this area though as there are some shallow spots. There was a place to tie the dinghy along the seawall at the far end of the visitors pier for Club Nautico. There is convenient bus service to Pollenca town, Alcudia and other destinations. Great hiking in the area including from the harbor to Cala San Vicente and Cala Vall de Boca. There is also the Pine Walk, which runs along the shore toward the seaplane/military base. Lots of restaurants and ice cream shops along the harbor. Plenty of things to do here!
