This cala is only about a mile from Peninsula Foradada and it has a nice big sand area for several boats with great holding. It is however, open to the north and to ocean swell. Even so, it is a rally pretty place and worth a stop to see the town. There are a couple of restaurants on shore as well as a very rocky but still popular beach. In the evening, the daytrippers all leave and the place gets peaceful & quiet. Swim floats block off the inner harbor during summer but there are places to put the dinghy. There are some fishing huts for local boats on shore. A road leads up to the lovely town of Deia (about 20 minute walk) and the coastal trail also leaves from the head of the harbor. Deia is an especially pretty town with a good vibe and some nice things to do. Deia was the home of Robert Graves, famous English poet. His old house is now a museum that can be visited. It can give you a feel for Mallorcan life.
