Port Moselle Marina is a popular hub for yachts cruising New Caledonia & provides many services. With a visitors pontoon that prioritizes boats checking in & out, the marina allows a minimum 3 day stay if they have space available. Call on VHF 67 when within range. In 2014, they didn't accept reservations but an email ahead of time was appreciated so they knew you were coming (port.moselle@sodemo.nc). For incoming clearance, the marina will notify customs & quarantine on your behalf so they will come to you and immigration can be done afterward on your own. The marina has complimentary wifi, oil & refuse disposal, good docks, bathroom facilities, fuel and a laundry service at the fuel dock. Le Bout du Monde is a bar/restaurant on site and an excellent produce/fish market is very close by. Other grocery stores, restaurants, shoppes, post office & McDonalds are all within relatively easy walking distance. The closest supermarket is called Casino Royale & it is located across the street from the cruise ship terminal. The Noumea tourist office is in Place des Cocotiers Plaza. They have good info on the Loyalty Islands.
