This is a lovely anchorage on the North side of Ibiza. It has beautiful rock formations, an old tower building on Punta Grosa and pretty colored water. Protected from all but N&E winds. Expect some swell. Although there are a couple of hotel buildings way up on the cliffs, when you are anchored here you can't see them so this anchorage is particularly peaceful. It is a good jumping off point for Mallorca too. Anchor close in under the cliffs in about 20 feet in sand, great holding. Getting ashore is difficult but doable especially if someone is left aboard to do the ferrying. If you scramble up the rocks to the tower from the small rocky beach, there is a stunning cliffside trail that heads to the town of San Vicente.
