This whole general area is very attractive with many opportunities for anchoring. Cala Rotja is the most protected, but it is very small and full of shallows and rocks. Plus, small tour boats enter to drop visitors to the beach for a few hours. Wherever you go, you can choose the depth you want to anchor in. Be careful moving around because there are rocks around that you could hit and some shallow sandy spots! The beaches have reddish sand and since there is road access, there is a parking lot at Playa de Cavalleria and a wooden staircase from the beach up the cliffside to reach it. This is part of the GR223 hiking trail and it is signposted. You can walk to the lighthouse on Cabo Cavalleria and there are some historic ruins along the way. Or you can head in the opposite direction. No other facilities here.
