A well buoyed entrance channel with two curves in it opens up into a very protected, pretty lagoon where there will be no chance for swell to enter and therefore a good night's sleep! There are red & green buoys denoting the channel. The water isn't very clear. There are also a couple of red "No Anchoring" buoys to port as you pass Cala s'Estany so don't confuse them with the channel. You will pass Puerto Deportivo de Addaya marina and the small Isla Monas to port before the anchorage opens up along with several private moorings. Plenty of room to anchor in good holding mud. Easy to tie the dinghy in front of marina office. Rubbish, used oil and recycling center, bar/restaurant, access to small holiday village town with supermarket. Coin-op washing machine at the marina. Further up the lagoon is the boundary for Albufera Natural Park. The birding is good especially in the cooler months.
