Nai Harn Bay is 7 miles from Au Chalong
and much prettier and yet it is still close enough to get to town if
you need to. Approach is easy and the holding is good in sand. The
water is relatively clear and there is a nice beach, with a road that
runs along shore as well as a lake just behind the beach circled by a
walking path. Dinghy landing can be challenging because swell runs in
to this bay. You can pay the Yacht Club, which is situated on the
north side of the bay a fee to use their dinghy dock but beware, as 3
dinghies disappeared from that paid dock during the 2015 Christmas
season. Ashore there are hotels, restaurants, ATM's and opportunities
to buy tourist items. This is a popular place to celebrate Christmas.
There is a playground for kids as well as a natural, shallow swimming
area that is great to play in.
