Yacht Haven Marina is located in the channel that separates mainland Thailand from Phuket and can only be accessed from the east. It is a bit out of town, but the docks & facilities are nice and the marina has a breezy, open feel. Approach can be made on any tide and there are plenty of staff to help you get situated. Call on VHF 68 for an escort in as the current that runs through the marina can be strong when maneuvering. They can give you a nudge with their inflatable if needed. There is a gym, small pool, restaurant, laundry and car rental options, yacht service companies and Yacht Haven is a major charter boat facility. It is also close to the airport. This marina can accommodate megayachts and it has a fuel dock. Unlike some Thai marinas, Yacht Haven's tap water is potable.
