Bottom Type Sand

This is the most protected anchorage on Culebra and gives access to the town of Dewey. Easy, well marked channel. Anchor on the west side of Cayo Pirata in 15-20 feet good holding. Put the dinghy at the town dock which is just north of the old lifting bridge. Ashore there is a PO, bank, supermarkets, restaurants, customs & border patrol at airport, not too long of a walk from dock. You'll probably sleep well away from any swell!

  • You can walk to local beaches. Get a map at the Customs office if you go
