This stretch of coast has several moorings along it, some marked for diving only. We did a dive using one of these moorings just north of Punto Tamarindo which was OK. The vis wasn't great as a northerly swell had come in. But, if you're in the area and want to dive, this could offer some underwater time. It is pretty shallow, 35 feet max and while there was some current, it wasn't hard to swim against. Lots of gorgonians and sea fans, some large lobster, LOTS of turtles and eagle rays.
